Singer Taio Cruz says he has not ruled out working with Chris Brown, despite being "disgusted" by the R&B star's assault of former girlfriend Rihanna.
The 24-year-old, who submitted songs to Brown for inclusion on his next album, told the BBC: "I don't condone what he did. I was disgusted by it."
However, Cruz said he believed the star had "learnt from" the incident. In August, Brown was sentenced to five years probation and six months community service over the attack.
Cruz, who had a UK number one single with Break Your Heart in September, conceded that Brown may find it hard to reconnect with his audience.
"I'm sure most of his fanbase are women who will have turned their back on him - and rightly so - but I don't know. "He's still an amazing musician, he's still really talented, he's still an amazing singer.
"Everyone makes mistakes and as long as he's learnt from it... In terms of music, I'm definitely down for writing music for people."
In July, Brown publicly apologised for attacking Rihanna, saying he was "very sad and very ashamed" by his actions. The star said his behaviour had been "inexcusable" and asked fans for forgiveness. His third studio album, Graffiti, is scheduled for release on 7 December.
