Mero mobile has been providing GPRS internet facility to its users since a long time. But many users can confused about how to configure it and what are it advantages. We wont be going deep into advantages because lots of other website does that in detail. We will just learn to activate mero mobile internet service and use it in our mobile phones. I have listed out the basic steps for setting up internet. If you have any difficulties please comment here.
Step 1: Make sure your mobile phone supports GPRS internet. Most of the phones does but be sure by checking it from the mobile's site.
Step 2: Create a new message and write "a" and send it to 900224.
you will then get a message from mero mobile service center and your GPRS service will be activated in 30 minutes time.
If you get a message "GPRS is already activate". Then you are ready to go to the next step.
Step 3:Open your connectivity settings. It might be located at different place in different mobile phones. Mostly it is inside "settings" or it might be in main menu with name "Connectivity" or "Connection setting"
Create a New Access point with following values:
Connection name: Mero GPRS
Data Bearer: GPRS
apn: mero
username: [dont change]
password: [dont change]
authentication type: secure
ip address: 192.168.19.15
homepage: www.websahar.com
This value might need to be entered in different places in different mobile. So keep this values in mind and enter it wherever required.
Step 4: Start your browser and start using internet.
At last: This is just a general idea and data that will be needed while setting up the internet in your mobile. Rest is upon you.
